Welcome back to another episode of Monday motivation on be you and be real this week we're talking about authentic being authentic and it's inspired by this quote less perfection more authenticity and that's by anonymous. And so I want to ask you a question. Do you feel like you have to look good? Do you feel like you have to be right? Why is that? Why do we have this natural thing inside of us that we have to show up for the world and be perfect when in reality we're not. Well, I was recently watching a documentary around Elon Musk and actually was scrolling through social media and I saw this and I started watching it and, and it got me thinking about this quote where, you know, Elon, back in the day he might have been picked on he kind of found himself in his own little world creating video games and and thinking and thinking and thinking like always having these new ideas and stuff and and he feeling rejected constantly. And look and fast forward now. Right? Like who is Elon Musk, like back then he might have been labeled a geek, which not necessarily was a good thing. But today, who is Elon Musk, right? He's got a following. He's got a following of people that, that embrace him for who he is, right? He, and they're okay with him being some may be a little eccentric, right? But his mind is constantly racing and evolving to his own pace. Now, I want to challenge you, and I want to look at this week and say, Are you being authentic to yourself? Right? Are you trying to put on this facade, this perfect picture on social media where people are constantly looking at you and saying, Wow, they must have it all together. And in reality, it's chaos behind the scenes. You know, being authentic means more than being perfect. It means being a little bit vulnerable at times. It means opening up behind the curtains and showing like yeah, I'm not the I'm not the Wizard of Oz. Up on the screen with this giant had this mystery of like, I'm just a guy behind the curtain. I'm just a, just someone who really is struggling behind the scenes, and I'm just not letting that facade down to show the world what's really going on. You know, this week, so I'm going to challenge you be less perfect. Don't shoot for perfect. I'm challenging you to shoot for authentic. Be yourself, get right here in your heart. get right with your home. Before you can ever be right with the world. That's what be you and be real means to me. Like you've got to show up for yourself. First you got to show up for your family and then you got to show up for the rest of the world. And sometimes that means taking simple actions every single day to be true to who you are, and allow the world to be okay with that. I hope this this message hits you this week. Thank you for tuning in to this Monday motivation with be you and be real, get ready because we're going to be talking a little bit more about this this week with an upcoming guests that we just shot a episode with. And oh my goodness, it's gonna resonate right alongside of this, as we talk about it this week in this upcoming chapter of be you and be real. We'll see you then.
